In honor of David Bowie’s birthday today, this photo was taken backstage at his 50th birthday concert. Here he is with some of the bands that performed, Sonic Youth, Placebo, Dave Grohl and Pat Smear from Foo Fighters, Frank Black from the Pixies, Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins, Robert Smith from the Cure and others.
And yes, this photo makes me insanely happy.
